WHAT IS HAYLAGE?

Haylage is forage made for horses from specifically selected grasses, cut at an optimum time and then sealed using a technique unique to Fitzpatrick Haylage. Our packaging allows natural fermentation to take place, which preserves the grass and its nutrients and results in dust free forage that is low in mould spores, highly palatable and nutritious. This method also removes the dust and spores found in chaff and hay.
The Importance of Quality Forage
Horses have a pyschological and physiological need for adequate dietary fibre, which is best supplied by forage. EH Haylages are the best choice. In addition to being hygienically and nutritionally superior to hay, they contain enough fibre levels to fulfil the horse's requirements. Thus they can be fed in sufficient amounts to fulfil the horse's natural need to chew and physiological need for fibre.
Haylages' superior nutritional content provides a healthier, higher forage, lower concentrate diet. This enables you to save on the cost of concentrate feed.

D-Lua Park stock 20kg sealed bags. Pallet loads are also available. These are stacked 45 bags/pallet. These are available year round for Lockyer Valley delivery. 500kg Bales

500kg bales are also available by order only, enabling those with larger numbers of horses to feed to buy Fitzpatrick Haylage more economically. Please contact us for further information. All bales have been double wrapped to ensure quality and minimise any risk of damage
