D-Lua Park is proud to have been appointed the Lockyer Valley distributor for Fitzpatrick Haylage

Haylage is forage made for horses from specifically selected grasses, cut at an optimum time and then sealed using a technique unique to Fitzpatrick Haylage. Our packaging allows natural fermentation to take place, which preserves the grass and its nutrients and results in dust free forage that is low in mould spores, highly palatable and nutritious. This method also removes the dust and spores found in chaff and hay. Click here for more information.

Shahzada 400km Marathon

D-Lua Park travelled to St Albans, NSW, to meet our regular NSW clients and make our products available for assessment by NSW members. We donated a Grand Prix Natural Deluxe to be presented to the rider judged to be “most deserving” amongst the completions.

Congratulations to all successful completions in the 2008 Shahzada!

At the end of the week and 400kms there are always many unusual stories of “how to survive the Shahzada test”

One of the most credible stories is Brad Dillon, riding Evonglen Holmgaard, who successfully completed the 400kms. What many did not know was that Brad Dillon’s horse had developed a sore back by late Tuesday, however, with good management, Brad & Evonglen Holmgaard were able to complete in 39 hrs 10 min and take 2nd place overall, because Brad took every opportunity on the goat tracks and technical sections, to dismount, unsaddle and to make his own effort a little easier he strapped the saddle to his back.
